"This site is dedicated to our first dollz, it's meant as an inspiration for all of you who are thinking of creating your own dollz so you can see that we didn't all start out making goegeous dollz and that it is something that takes time and patience!"
This website is VERY old, and probably hasn't been updated in a long time. It's a piece of dolling history!
Dolls are unique in that they are not exclusively part of any other form of pixel/digital art. Some would argue that dolls are not art at all, but the reality is that the variety of dollers is so great that some are little works of art. The dolling community is as varied as the dolls it produces, with young pre-teens drawing simple dolls, to serious art students creating dolls for fun, to mothers who simply want to do something creative from time to time.
"Once you have a few dolls that you are proud of, you probably want to show them off to your friends, other dollers, maybe even the world. There are some easy ways to do that online, such as a photobucket account, online profile or an account at deviantART. All you have to do is create an account and upload your dolls in an easy way, and people can see all your hard work in an organised way." -taken from the web page.
