03/04/2007: "money money money"
So yes, as previously stated, I got my income tax return and I'm excited to be paying off my credit card bills. As much as I'd like to just go crazy and throw all that money at the credit cards, I think I'm going to pay them off over a period of 1 month. I'm not scared that I'll blow the money sitting in my bank account on anything, since I rarely go out and spend my money on crap anymore. I only do that with the tips I make on the train
lol
So for this week, I made a payment in the amount of 1/4 of each credit card bill (there are three) for a total of $433.55, and will do so every Sunday for a month. That won't get rid of the debt entirely, but after one month of paying each credit off another 1/4 of the current balance, the total accumulated debt will go from $1754.25 to $557.27 left to pay off.
I'll still have my car to pay off, as well as my computer, but getting rid of these credit card payments will enable me to aggressively pay off both those bills...And then I'll have nothing, because I'm "moving back in" with my mom. I'm going to save soo much money, it will be awesome.
